1.1 R – Residential (RES-1, RES-2, RES3-1): Available to individual residential members in permanent residences.
1.1.1 R-NM - Net Metering Rate for Residential Member-Owned Renewable Generations Systems Up to 25 kW: Available to residential members, where a member-owned renewable energy generation system with a nameplate rating up to 25kW is installed. (Rider)
1.2 Schedule RE - Residential All Electric (RE-1, RE-2): Available only to members in individually metered permanent residences who meet the requirements.
1.2.1 Schedule RC - Residential Conservation Service (RCRES-1, RCRES-2): Available only to members in individually metered permanent residences who meet the requirements.
1.3 Schedule RT - Residential Time-of-Use Service (Closed to New Accounts as of 6/25/98): Available, on a voluntary basis, to residential members in individually metered permanent residences.
1.4 TOU (Pilot) - This schedule is available on a limited and voluntary basis for residential members. This schedule is not available to consumers with a prepaid metering contract.
1.5 Schedule RETS – Residential Electric Thermal Storage (Closed to New Installations as of 4/29/00): This schedule is available to a limited number of residential members where an electric thermal storage (ETS) unit and appropriate load management control equipment have been installed.
1.6-EV Submeter (Pilot) - This schedule is available on a limited and voluntary basis for residential members at permanent locations where a leased or owned “plug-in” electric vehicle could be regularly charged.
Additional Rates Schedules and Riders
5.1.1 Schedule A – Blue Ridge Charges to New River for Electric Service Available under contract for resale service to New River Light & Power (“New River”).
6.1 OL - Outdoor Lighting Service: Available for dusk to dawn outdoor lighting service to all members where the Cooperative’s distribution facilities are located. Not available for part-time or seasonal operation of luminaries.
8.1 WPCA-1 - Wholesale Power Cost Adjustment Clause: Applicable to All Schedules except Schedule A.
8.3 Brighter Future Renewable Rider - This Rider is available on a limited and voluntary basis to local governments and institutions of higher education (qualifying member) within the Cooperative’s service territory to meet renewable energy sustainability goals.
8.4 NC GreenPower Program, Rider GP-1: Available on a voluntary basis in conjunction with any of the Cooperative’s schedules for a consumer who contracts with the Cooperative for a block or blocks of electricity produced from Renewable Resources provided through the NC GreenPower Program.
8.5 NC GreenPower Program Rider REN-1: Available on a voluntary basis in conjunction with any of the Cooperative’s schedules for a consumer who contracts with the Cooperative for minimum of 100 blocks of electricity produced from Renewable Resources provided through the NC GreenPower Program.
8.6 Rider NB – Net Billing Rider for Member Owned Renewable Generation Systems Less Than 100 kW: Available to residential or commercial members with a small generation system that has been approved for interconnection; and receive concurrent service from the Cooperative's residential or commercial rate schedules.
8.7 Rider NM – Net Metering Rider for Member Owned Renewable Generation Systems Less Than 25 kW (Closed to New Installations as of 4/30/15): Available to residential or commercial members with a small generation system that has been approved for interconnection; and receive concurrent service from the Cooperative's residential or commercial rate schedules.
8.8 Schedule REPS-1 - Renewable Energy Portfolio Standard Rider: Service under this rider is applicable to all retail consumers of the Cooperative for the recovery of the Cooperative's incremental costs associated with meeting their Renewable Energy Standard Portfolio (REPS) pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 62-133.8 and NCUC Rule R8-67.
8.9 Schedule CSPP-1 - Cogenerators and Independent Power Producers Rate: The output of cogeneration and independent power production facilities less than 1,000 kW that qualify under the Cooperative’s cogeneration and independent power production program.
9.1 Rider CSPS-1 - Community Solar Panel Subscription: Available on a voluntary basis to all residential and non-demand general service members receiving concurrent service from the Cooperative on one of the following rate schedules: R, RE, RC, R-NM, GS, GS-NM. This Rider will be on a first come first served basis subject to subscription availability.Under this Rider, the member can subscribe to the electric output of one or more panels located in the Cooperative’s community solar gardens.
9.2 Rider MRM-1 - Applicable to residential and small general service members who request a meter that either does not utilize communications to transmit data, or is otherwise required to be read manually, provided that such a meter is available for use by the Cooperative. At the Cooperative’s option, meters to be read manually may be either an advanced meter with the communication capability disabled or other non-communicating meter.
