Since the beginning of COVID-19, Blue Ridge Energy made the decision to suspend disconnects, waive late fees and offer special payment plans to assist our members and customers during this difficult time. While the decision had already been made to extend these special circumstances until August, Gov. Cooper issued a new Executive Order 142 on May 30 outlining the same timeline. We encourage everyone (including Flexpay members) to continue paying your energy bill to avoid a large balance at the end of this crisis. Call us at 1-800-451-5474 to set up a special payment plan.
Faux fireplaces add an architectural detail to a room, despite the fact that as the name suggests, it’s not a real fireplace. Some try to look like a real fireplace, while others don’t even try. The nice thing about a faux fireplace is you get the aesthetic beauty of a fireplace without the cost, hassle or expense of a real fire. It also works well in tropical or desert climates, where it stays too hot to really enjoy a roaring fire.
Faux fireplaces come in all shapes, sizes and colors. Because they are not actually functional, it can really open up what the design can be. Heck, some people even construct and decorate their own. If your apartment, condo, or home doesn’t have a working fireplace, faux fireplaces might be a real viable option to put your own look into action.
