So that you always know exactly how much propane is left in your tank, install a propane tank gauge. It goes between the fuel line and tank of your grill, or other devices that you are using with propane. There’s nothing worse than getting caught with not enough propane when you are barbecuing outside, or using it for another purpose.

Not all gauges are the same, but most have a dial that shows the different levels — high, low and refill. They can fit propane grills, patio heaters and other appliances that run on propane. They are inexpensive and can be found at most hardware stores around town.
